We recently started geocaching and decided that we would place a cache since there hasn't been a new cache in the area in a couple years. It's an easy walk to where the cache is from the parking area.

Park at the pull off to the south of Rafter J and County Road 141 intersection. Heading south is a trail that travels into the wilderness area. It's a beautiful trail if you have the time take it. Most people stop at these coordinates after each hike or bike ride and just soak in the view to the east and the south or to just catch their breath before going back to their vehicle.

From the coordinates look around for a pile of rocks on this hill. Please do not take any of the rocks from the pile.

Thanks for the cache. Seems very fitting because there were two gymnastics stickers in the cache....and today marks the first day that I become the sole owner and operator of Durango Junior Olympic Gymnastics! Dropped off 3 bouncy balls!

Moved the cache due to the area being closed behind the fence a year or two after the cache was placed. See the update in the description for new location a few feet away.
