A medium cache in the Swallows area.
Each member of our family donated 2 items to start the cache. Cache is 0.55 miles from the road over easy trail except for the last last bit which is rough and steep. Region is full of cactus and could have a rattlesnake. During summer take water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Look for turkey vultures and the cliff swallows for which the region gets it name.

My phone app took us on a particularly troublesome, roundabout route. A big adventure for the Caching Aussies. Lots of swag!.

First time for me back in here on the first day of Winter.

The days will be getting longer now.

Just followed geotrail to the end and there it is.

This type of container holds up well.

Thanks for the cache!

Finding the cache was one success. Avoiding the cactus was another success. The big ones are obvious, but sometimes it is hiding in the grass. Thanks for an interesting side trip.

Found on a cache run with OF-Erad and Oscar Mike USMC. The day started out very cold and turned very mild. Lots of hiking around the North side of the Pueblo Reservoir. This one earned every difficulty star based on the sea of tumbleweeds that we had to wade through to get to the cache...TFTC SL
