This one was tough. We couldn’t find it and got eaten by mosquitoes.

This hasn’t been found since 2016...perhaps the CO should verify it’s still there??

We looked hard for this one - but couldn't find it. Had a great ride on the Venable Lake Trail.

DNF Beautiful area but no luck finding it.

DNF here. Bummed out. So pretty but searching around seemed somewhat damaging to the area. We'll have to try again sometime.

TFTC! We picked this cache specifically because it fills a block on our d/t chart. I was worried about the light since we got such a late start. After reading the hint and the logs, we started looking around. GZ was bouncing around quite a bit, but the tips helped us focus in on the right location. The flashlight made all difference to make this a quick find.

CB_Beauty and I were in the Spanish Peaks area collecting counties and working on our D/T chart and this cache filled both. We were a little nervous as we started the hike just before dark, plenty of light for a hike, but weren't so sure of searching for caches. However, this is why we carry flashlights, looking into shadowy cracks and crevices. The hint made much more sense after the find, only because I needed to over-analyze the word little and compare tree sizes in relation to other trees in the area. CBB made a sweep with her flashlight and caught a glimpse of the corner of the container, tucked safely away in the hiding spot. We were the only ones on the trail from beginning to end and we did see a pair of elk on the way down only a few hundred feet away.

Gps took us round and round. On one side of creek and then the other. Read the hint and found a likely spot. Had my hand within inches even moved some camo and didn't see it. Then my husband walks over and said here it is. #*?! Expletives. Nicely hidden, beautiful spot. Tftc
