+ Ya know, Mars was in opposition last night.

- Yeah, so?

+ Well, I went out to take a photo with our GPS unit and something weird happened.
+ Just after I snapped the photo, HEX characters started scrolling across the screen.
+ They seemed to repeat so I saved them.

- What did they say?

+ I don't know. They didn't decode like the last time when that IT group told me how.
+ They said that the problem was in the wetware, whatever that means.

- What happens if there aren't enough bits to complete a HEX character?

+ The bits get right shifted, zero fill, to complete the nibble.

- Oh.

On this Thanksgiving Day I'm thankful this one is finally over! The CO spoon-fed me until I got the last little bit that I could actually do (reminds me of the Jeff Foxworthy joke where he drives 499.999 of the 500 mile trip and the wife "kicks her up into the driveway!"). Another cruel and evil puzzle from Jim Reeb. Oh that I could ever be that smart.... TFTC!

Replaced container.

Didn't find it 03/02/2018 By Back Country Horsemen
I solved this one with a direct hint from the CO. I came out today to find it but it has been 3 1/2 years since the last log. I wasn't able to spot anything.

I had my fair share of trouble solving this one, but finally got a nudge in the right direction - I enjoyed the walk in the secluded area. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !
