Wild horse in the wilderness area

Exit 46 on Highway 70 in Western Colorado( Cameo ). Travel across the bridge and travel about 2 miles West from the bridge to the parking lot keeping in mind to watch for the Little Bookcliff Wilderness Area signs. Short walk from there to the South. ( Suggest taking 4wd or truck as roads can be bad.) Caution: Please use 4wd at this time. I was up there 10/11/06 and the roads were washed out from a storm we had. Hopefully, they will be repaired for other vehicles later.
Tin container with various items. ( AOL CD, stapler, calculator, rain bonnet, sewing kit, ect. ) Unique area because of the opportunity of seeing wild horses in the vicinity. I saw 4 wild horses and downloaded one of the horses on the gallery. Hope you have the chance to see one. Usually during the morning or evening but I saw them in the afternoon.
Make sure at this time of year you carry bug spray for mosquitos and those horrible Pinon bitting gnats. :(

Cache still intact. As if on cue, I was signing the log and three horses came out across the way and made their way over the hill. This old cache seems to be hanging in there, thanks.

Found it on the last day of 2016. A beautiful day. Cache in just a little bit of snow...just enough to make a bit slick on the way down. Happy New Year! Left a horse!
