A dead drop or dead letter box is a method of espionage tradecraft used to pass items or information between two individuals (e.g., a case officer and an agent, or two agents) using a secret location. By avoiding direct meetings, individuals can maintain operational security. This method stands in contrast to the live drop, so-called because two persons meet to exchange items or information.

Your mission at this location is to avoid contact with anyone else. Retrieve the drop, sign it, and return it to exactly the place and position you found it.

FTF 4-10-2023 at 2:14 pm. We sat around for a but, hoping for someone to join us. But no such luck. We didn't know this was an FTF, we were just finding newer caches in the area. Beaurltiful day in the Colorado sun.
Today we grabbed a few caches in the morning and then headed out again to take advantage of the amazing weather. It was in the upper 70's. We cached our way up to Barr lake where we finished with a virtual cache. During our travel we saw several deer, a few hawks, a nesting goose, and several pelicans.
Thanks for the cache!
