Awesome green ammo box located near Cherry Creek Trail!

With clothes of green, search me for the goods... I sleep like a log, I grow up big and tall and lose my clothes in the fall. People climb me, cut me and burn me and my rings are not of gold but they do tell my age. I have a trunk but I'm not an elephant. I have bark but do not bite! Congrats! You've found a resting Plains Cottonwood Tree; scientific name: Populus sargentii. This tree is a member of the Willow family (Salicaceae). I almost gave up after 45 minutes of looking. Us old guys have a hard time bending down. There is no travel bug which is too bad. I was going to drop one but won’t if I can’t grab one.
