This puzzle threw me for loops! But finally, I was able to get a happy checker. Today I swung over here to look for the container. Perfect timing. It's cold and no one is around. Happy to make the find!
This morning I headed out I-70 early in the morning for an FTF and decided to continue my drive to pick up the last remaining unfound caches past Bennett. The weather has scared many drivers and muggles into their homes to stay warm. I found the caches and then headed to Green Valley Ranch and Montebello. Frustration set in with more DNF's than finds. I decided to cut my losses and go home. Later I braved an adventure for a Lab cache before tucking in for the night.

Headed out and about today, to see if I could get some "science of discovery" points - yup, earned enough to claim the first souvenir - this was the first of ten geocaches that I found during my travels. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Solved it but with the old formula, then contacted the owner and had made the same error as he had originally. I also had problems with the base 9 conversion but found that my mistake was inputting something incorrectly. Garbage in, garbage out as they say. Anyway this was a fine variant of the original Airport Codes. Well done! The cache was quickly found today after getting my second Covid vaccination. Cheers.
