THIS IS NOT A BOMB!laugh

CONGRATULATIONS TO ANIMJASON ON FTF!!! Another nice thing is it didn't blow up on him, maybe the next one!!! LOL!

We as cachers have a tendency to find things that are, well...um...dangerous! Be it animal, vegetable, certain types of home chemistry projects, abandoned military hardware, and yes the occasional explosive device. I had just finished this container when it dawned on me that my innocent little baby could be misconstrued as a bomb. So to make sure this one didn't blow up in my face. I clearly labeled this one GEOCACHE.

The recently archived Cooool Cache provided a very nicearea for a hide. No this is not in the exact same place. There may be some rock scrambling anda stream to ford, depends on which way you want t oapproach this one. The afore mentioned hazards is the fun way.

Quite walk through this nice area.

I took the extended way to this one and went up the hill after crossing the river. The terrain rating through me off a little here and I figured there was probably and easier way to cross but wasn't sure.

My search for a cache was beginning to cut into my gym time, as it sometimes does, so I was a little bit haste here. Once at GZ, the search for this one was quick and the cache sticks out a little in the location but I'm sure no one is heading out this way otherwise.

I'll say I'm glad that this is hidden in the woods because it would spook me if I didn't know what caching was and saw this in a city haha.

I pecked this nice cache up while on my way to attend the GC7J49C Seventh Annual Columbine Open Space Clean-up BONUS south of Castle Rock. I have never been on this trail before, so I was happy to explore it today. I was surprised how quickly the trail transitioned from paved, neighborhood trail to steep-cliff canyon. I spent allot of time enjoying the view, so I was happy to make the find on this one without any drama. This was a sturdy container and more COs should spent the extra effort to craft good containers like this one did...I'm sorry if anyone thinks this is a bomb, lol. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find and giving me an excuse to explore this cool place, TFTC.

First time exploring this area! Loved all the rocks to climb on. Great playground for me! Lots of mouse droppings. They definitely use this spot for a nest. Tftc!

I spotted it from above. I was working my way around the rim of the rocks and slipped. It was about 8 ft down and luckily landed on my feet! Just some scrapes from a nearby tree. Wow! What an adventure! The adrenaline is still pumping through me!

I was out this way to do some hiking and caching and made the find here at 2:41pm. Thanks for the excellent cache! I looked high and low for this one for quite a while and almost gave up. One more look and there it was and in fine shape. I really like caches like this that take some effort to get to and find and are placed in a cool location. I wondered if the people on the paved trail could hear me traipsing through the fallen leaves. Probably thought I was a wild animal. A favorite point is hereby granted.
