Changed this from a small cache to a log only Micro.
This cache is located at Grant-Frontier Park. The park has been newly remodeled and is a gorgeous(me) place to spend some outdoor time. There is a playground for the kids and plenty of walking area to enjoy the scenic beauty. I found it interesting that the site was discovered by Grant Junior High School. The CO(me) was a student at Grant Junior High in the 1970's. Grant-Frontier Park is a park at Evans Ave. on the east bank of the South Platte River in southwest Denver, Colorado. It is the site of the Montana City settlement. The park was named in honor of Grant Junior High School (now Grant Middle School) whose teachers and students were responsible for discovering the site, cleaning and restoring it, and researching the history of Montana City.

Nicely done. Signed log.

Thanks SPat ABQ for giving me a reason to get outside. It’s always worth it when you are enjoying nature. There is nothing better than acting like a kid again, digging through weeds and climbing trees, all to sign my name on a piece of paper.

Found with Cachly for IOS.

Checked this cache a few weeks ago. There are no wasps on the bottom step where where the cache is. I deleted a log that claimed the cache but did not sign because of wasps. You have to sign to claim.

Went out for a drive on a warm (but overcast) summer day - this was the second of ten geocaches that I found along the way (also, the first stop on a park-once-find-two excursion). TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

It might be there but if I couldn’t see it with my eyes I wasn’t going to risk using my hands. I’ll have to search in the winter when the wasps aren’t all over it.
