This cache is at the given coordinates. It was placed by a group of cachers during the "Lets Go For A Hike: 5" Event. It should be a fairly easy find.

Congrats to animjason, sissadies and nerak2001 on CO-FTF!

On our way back to the parking lot, we decided as a group to place a cache to add to the existing trail of nice caches in the area. We found a nice spot along the trail after we made our way back from Karl Kleaver's Kache.

You are looking for a small silver bison tube hidden on the boulder. We did not want to make this cache too hard, more of a bonus for all the other cachers who come out here to either hike or find one of the oldest Colorado caches. Use the picture below to figure out which side of the boulder the cache is hidden on. It should be an easy find, but please make sure you re-hide it so that it stays out of view of the many muggles who hike this trail.

FTF will be awarded to the first cacher that wasn't part of our group to find this cache. Those that were part of the group already signed the cache, but will not be allowed to claim FTF. This is the way that Aimless Wandering caches work, and is an added incentive to those who go on the group hikes.

Found on my morning hike.
Beautiful, trail just a little ice and packed snow.
Did not get all the geocaches on the trail but thought I would just save them for next time.

Great first cache of the day. We parked at the waypoint provided and found the trail and this cache. However being unfamiliar with the area and the trails and that there is a creek, we discussed our option of either returning the way we came or wading through. It didn't take Mrs. Mountaineer long she went right across (Shoes and socks on) with our geo golden retriever Honey Bear that loves finding geocaches along with swimming in the creek. I took my shoes and socks off and joined them on the other side. Because our truck was parked on the side of the road we did 9 miles and enjoyed the entire hike. TFTH and taking us on this adventure.
