This cache is located in an area that is used by lots of bikers, hikers, joggers and horse back riders.. There are many trails and old roads that cross the area. The area is accessed by going to the end of Canyon Rim Drive which is just across the street from Wingate School off of South Camp Road. Since the area is used by many, muggles could be present at most any time during daylight. In addition there are several other caches scattered around the whole area of trails. The camoed cache is small in size and has a pencil inside so as to sign the log. While locating the cache I observed a small scorpion, thus the cache name, so cache with care... The immediate area around ground zero has boulders, rocks, cactus, juniper and crevices.

With four of us cachers we were bound to find it. Great hide and spot. Coordinates were great, just a tough, good hide.

Yay out of four tries finally success! I didn’t think I would ever find the cache! This was by far the hardest cache find . TFTH SL

09/21/2017 I was out here last year trying to find this cache with no luck then. I was in the Grand Junction area visiting my dad as I live in Corbin KY! It was the same thing this trip. We then moved on to the next closest cache after looking for this cache for over an hour. We didn't find the next cache (Moose Mint) either. Maybe next year.

checked the cache today and it is still in its hiding place... this is supposed to be a tough one as it took me a while to find as it had been moved just a little from where it was placed.
