We have logged several other alphabet challenges in the past, so we enjoyed also having to solve a fun puzzle in order to qualify for this challenge cache. When we arrived at the solved coords, we saw the hiding spot that previous cachers have mentioned in their logs. Unfortunately, the container seemed to have gone missing. We checked other possible hiding spots but kept coming back to this obvious spot. So we dropped a new container and log at this spot and covered our hide with a little more natural camouflage to make it a little more muggle proof.
This was our last find of the day, so we turned around and headed back along the UPT to our parking spot in Manitou Springs for a 10+ mile caching day. :o) Thanks for bringing us out here - it was a fun day filled with awesome views of God's handiwork.

We went out on a fun hike with Back Country Horsemen along the Ute Pass Trail. We hiked for 12 miles over 6 hours and found 10 caches along the way.

This cache became our main goal for the hike and the point at which we turned around to start heading back. Back Country Horsemen did all the deciphering work on this one. Pretty obvious hide location; I was able to spot it before even leaving the trail. Looks like a critter has chewed on the container, but the log is good to go because of the Ziploc baggie.

KJKlock has used Project-GC to see if he/she qualified for this challenge and he/she did.
