Day 4 of a 10 day road trip to Mingo in Kansas and GeoWoodstock in Texas as our main targets with Capers4, Frazuky and KaiteeDee aka Squirrel Girls. Signed in to caches as Squirrel Girls, our names or initials.

Stopped by this letterbox while passing through the state for the icon. Arrived at GZ and soon had cache in hand.

Out caching with FeartheFish which means me driving his butt around all over the place. Roadtrip to Cheyenne for the webcam plus west of Greely for some letterboxes and picked up other caches along the way. Cute little letterbox. TFTC!

It is interesting to note that my first find for today was my first letterbox hybrid in Colorado, giving me such finds in 25 states, half the total. It also gave me aches with UP in their titles representing five different icons, which finally qualified me for a challenge cache whose log I had signed years ago. It is also interesting to note that before the day was out I'd have found 13 letterbox hydride in the state and would have reached 22,000 finds!

As far as the cache itself is concerned I parked nearby where an auction was going on and walked to GZ. I was following my GPSr, but quickly noticed a par of likely beacons, walked to them, found something interesting in between, checked on it, and soon was signing the log, making sure that I left the stamp alone. So it was a WnG rather than a PnG, but it was easy nonetheless; good job and TFTC!
