Here's an opportunity to get a few minutes of fresh air. When we planted this cache, there was a HUGE hawk that swooped in to check on us. It was very cool. You may also see some deer hanging around. ***Congratulations to barasaur and trusty companions LasVegasBones and Nerak2001 on a power-caching day and being the FTF!!!***

This is a small cache container.  As of day one, it's filled with a small log, pencil, 2 TBs, a matchbox car, and a small buildable toy.  We enjoy caches that get you out of the car, away from the road, and offer a chance at some fresh air.  Enjoy.

Thanks, browndoor21! I was in the area geocaching yesterday, and I came back this morning to get a good start to 2017. It was cold early in the morning but it warmed up pretty quickly and there was very little snow in the area. I started this morning at the shopping area on Smokey Hill Road, and continued on to the plains in Elbert County. I was surprised to see how much recent development is happening in this area. We moved to Arvada permanently in March, and next week we will be having fun with the grandchildren while their mother is at work. School does not resume until the next week. I run a pocket query of the area I want to geocache in so I never know my exact route or which caches I will look for until I start.
