A cool, breezy morning to clear out this area. After a couple of short hikes, I decided to go for a drive and continue to have more fun. I was hoping that this road would dump me out elsewhere, but had to u-turn shortly after this stop. Cheers!

FTF @ 12:09! Very nicely done!
First time hide by a new geocacher? Yes
In the mountains where GPS may be sketchy? Yes
Not yet verified by anybody else? Yes
Far from my house? Yes
So, why did I decide to go for this one anyway?
I have been working so many hours for way too long. But, this past weekend the website we have been working on finally launched! My son is on spring break, but had a play date at a friend's house and I dropped him off by 8:30. So, today with the beautiful weather I had to heed the call of geocaching. First I picked an area up north that would give me a chance to get a FTF on a regular sized GC. I drove to five different caches, but ended at an area that allowed me to walk and pick up eleven more. I had to pick up my son from his play date later in the afternoon, so I headed back and brought him back to the house. The I picked an area south of me. This time it was a park once and grab 14, though I had to cover a good distance on a large loop on foot. My highlights of the day were seeing a flock of wild turkeys and a huge herd of elk.
I grabbed a few other caches on my way to this one. The weather started out quite windy in the morning and it was not yet warm when I was looking for this one.
Also note that there isn't exactly parking in the area of the cache. You will be driving up a pretty steep road, though you don't need a special vehicle.
