Found! Awesome place. Ended a small streak of DNF for us. The container seemed to be rusted shut so we couldn't sign. We have pic if needed.

Found it, very cool, someone left a toy ring hanging on it. But the log was very wet and the names had all run. We weren't able to sign it due to it being wet.

The log paper was wet, so I added some new dry paper.

Someone had an eye for location, location, location. The views of Thimble Rock and surrounding landscape are amazing. The coordinates were spot on. The container and log are in good shape. Signed "KC + SLY" and replaced. Thanks for bringing us to this piece of history.

GZ was a bit off but used my Geo Sense and kept looking and was able to find the cache. Indeed, log was a bit wet and was probably full. Couldn't tell if it was actually full or if ink had just bled on to the back of the paper, but I signed anyway. Really cool spot to see what an old mansion of the west looked like. Thanks for the stop.

Out caching with my youngest daughter today, enjoying this fall like weather! I had seen pictures of this mansion a few weeks ago, and decided to go to find it since we like finding old, abandoned places such as this. So happy to find out that there was a cache here! Now, knowing this is a Whizzkid cache, I totally made this harder than I needed to. Finally found, signed log and replaced as found. Log was wet, so we let it wave in the breeze for a bit so it would dry out while we took some pictures, and then put it back. Thanks for the cache!

Out looking for some caches so we can hit 500 before the grandson leaves for home in Michigan this weekend.
