There are so many little parks hidden around this city. Often they seem to never have any one playing at them.  My little one and I are going to do our best to find all of them and help everyone else find them as well.
We are going to try and keep these easy to find for the little ones but if there are only a few choices then you might need to look higher. 

 

Welcome to Penstemon Park!   I found this park and we had to come play here.  Turns out this is now one of my favorite parks we have found doing this series.  The sand pit has some great dino bones for the kids to uncover, all of the climbing areas are in the best shape I have seen of any park, along with rubberized area under the playground is super soft and cushy if anyone where to fall.

This is another great Colorado Springs Park. The cache was not there, but a maintenance man saw us and asked what we were looking for. When we explained, he said that he had found something on the ground and put it in the maintenance truck. We followed him to the truck and he dug it out for us. (Great timing!) We placed it back in its spot. Sending pictures to CO to see if he wants to change it. TFTC SL

The log was really wet. Dried it off with truck's defroster and dried out the Ziploc. Placed back. Nice little hide. TFTC and SL.

Found it very quickly but as previous finders have mentioned, the container is not watertight and the log is very wet. Unfortunately I did not have a replacement with me. But my ballpoint pen worked just fine. Signed the log and was on my way. Tftc!

Love Penstemon flowers. This is a nice park. The cache was easy to find. Paper was wet like the previous finders stated. I went back to car and got a plastic baggie. I dried the log a little and then put it safely in the bag and replaced it in its spot. I hope it's nice for the next person. Thanks.

Container had water in it and the log was soaked so couldn't sign. CO needs to check.
