We enjoyed solving the puzzle, but we could not locate the container. There was a lot of trail work done in the area, with huge trees being cut. We looked for a long time, but we just didn't find it. This one might be gone.

I didn't think my little car would go up that rutted road so I walked from the intersection. Great idea, I get some exercise, see some awesome views and find a geocache. Signed the log but didn't have room for swag. Thanks for getting me out here. I've been in the Canon City area for 30 years and I've discovered more since I started geocaching than I had in the last 25 years. I didn't know these picnic and camping areas were here.

I spent 12 dqys in Colorado to include travel to and from. I cached with Hockabee, LouinLiberty, FWIA, Harvest Moon2, Gnome Cats, 5 beads. Signed the logs 5CG (five crazy girls) GC, and the general and wife. What a wild time we had.

It was a beautiful day to go caching. Most of the snow was melted, but it was very muddy in spots. It didn't take long to get my hands on this one, although I did search the wrong area for a few minutes. I went to see Keith Emmerson and Greg Lake a couple of years ago, but the show was cancelled at the last minute due to Greg being ill. Ironically it was Keith who didn't live much longer. Thanks for this really fun series and RIP Keith Emmerson.
