We placed this cache at A-Basin in honor of Madisson's birthday, March 24th. Her and I have had great fun geocaching, skiing, and hiking together for the past year. We've found many geocaches all over the Colorado wilderness and have talked about placing a cache at A-Basin for quite awhile. Our original plan was to place a cache here last year on her birthday, but all Colorado ski resorts were shut down for the season in mid-March due to the pandemic. So we waited patiently for a year, had a great day of skiing, and placed this cache for others to find!

In the winter, this cache can be accessed via Loafer and then dropping in on either the Marmot or Beaver Bowl runs. In the summer, I'd imagine a fair amount of hiking would be involved, but the views and solitude would surely make it worthwhile. Find the cache, take a break on the sundeck, and enjoy the views and your latest smiley!
