Out doing some maintenance and checking on some of our close-by caches. Since this one was nearby, I headed over to see if I could come away with the smiley. During my search, I was suddenly startled by 2 bikes whizzing by. It turned out to be the CO and his friend. After all of the introductions, we had a nice chat and soon parted ways so we all could continue on with our caching adventures. Very nice hide, SL,TFTC

First to find!!! I live in Fort Collins but was in Denver for a few days for a funeral for my best friend’s son. I was headed home this morning but wanted to stop to look for a few caches. I was trying to find an open space further west of this park and pulled in this parking lot to punch the address into google maps. I decided since I was already here I should check this park for caches. I noticed this was a brand new cache so I made a beeline to it. Every other person I saw I assumed was another geocacher who was going to beat me to it. But I was the only one around GZ and made the find after about 10 minutes of searching. Thank you for hiding this cache and making an otherwise miserable week a bit brighter for me.
