I found this really cool hiking trail a few weeks ago and was shocked to find out there were no caches here. I decided to remedy that!

This trail is not really a trail so much as it is a dried up creek bed. The terrain is pretty rugged in a lot of places requiring you to scale some large boulders at times. If you have bad knees, or a heart condidtion, then these caches may not be for you...

Like Cool Rock Trail #2, this particular cache is off the creek bed and up the hill a bit. I'm not sure if water ever runs down this creek bed anymore, so I didn't want to chance it! This cache is bigger than Cool Rock Trail #1, and is big enough for schwag and small trackables. I started it off with a couple of trade items!

Out sight seeing and decided to do a little caching while we were out. Whew....this little 10 pound dog who I am having to carry sure is making this a lot harder than it should be! I'll cut her some slack though since she's 112 in dog years!!!!!

This one took a little bit of searching but two GPS units eventually pointed in the same direction. I gave the most prominent location a cursory glance, and after searching other areas with no luck, I returned to the most obvious location, saw something suspicious, and there it was. Now this cache is definitely getting a bit cracked and worn out. One more winter may take its toll. Tried to go a little further up canyon, but the dogs couldn't handle all the bouldering so we turned around. Thanks for the nice Sunday stroll.
