A Bookcrossing themed cache on Palmer Trail!

Way back in 2002, I planted a Bookcrossing themed Geocache in San Diego called Bookcrossing Library. I am just getting back into Geocaching after several years of inactivity, and thought a Bookcrossing themed cache would be the perfect way to start!

This cache is on Palmer Trail, which is an out-and-back trail off of Section 16 about ¾ of a mile past the waterfall. If you continue on the trail past the cache you will reach a sign that reads "Crystal Park - No Trespassing" in about 6/10's of a mile – the end of the trail.

The cache has 5 Bookcrossing registered paperbacks in it – take one, read it, and put it in another cache!

Out for a chilly day of hiking with GoMRT. Didn't see a lot of views today, but being socked in fog ALL day (and not getting rained on!) was a cool experience. This really is an inconveniently placed library, haha! What a fun find. We rescued the granola bars that were inside and munched on them as we headed up the trail. Thanks for placing this cache.

Making my way up the spur trail this morning. Great spot for a cache! Love the view. Organized the container for the next cacher and rehid as needed. Tftc on the spur!

I was fortunate enough to get invited for a hike with Ernie and Estes. Then they were gracious enough to allow me to pick up a few caches along this back door trail to the section 16 area and beyond. No books to return and I didn't check any out either! TFTH!!!
