Needs maintenance

Satellite series.
The named satellite is located at W171.4 in the sky.
I was listening to some music, trying to decide what to name caches for a new series. Just then, Satellite came on. It was the perfect set of names for a series in a GPS game! This cache is named from a list of geosynchronous satellites.

Taking our Aussie friends on a caching run east of Colorado Springs. It is great to be able to find this cache with Liz and Bruce. Thanks to WitzAbout for the cache.

We are staying in Colorado Springs and went out with Dugeagle today to do some caching and this was one we targetted and found. We enjoyed the variety of hides. Greetings from Australia. Thanks to WitzAbout for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

The weather held for us today in Peyton... cloudy, windy, sunny, threatening but no rain! Very glad to find several in the area and thankful to the COs who placed and maintain them (also to those who had replaced a few along the way!) It was fun to travel some back roads while the rolling landscape is so green and lush and the horses and cows were out grazing. It did make for some hikes through tall weeds though! TFTC SL

Out searching for hidden creatures with claudey this evening. Left a replacement log in a baggie in the original container (which is without a lid). Thanks for the cache!

What a thrill we had on the way to this cache! The sun was just starting to set and we were going down the road when we spotted a very large bird perched on the top of a utility pole. We slowed down and discovered it was another eagle, our second for the day. This, too, was either an immature bald or golden eagle. We are again thinking it is an immature bald eagle. It was too dark to get a picture. Then, we only travel maybe a half mile and see another large bird perched on top of another utility pole. This one, however, was unmistakably a great horned owl! Wow, last weekend when we were down here we didn't see any wildlife. This trip we have seen lots and lots of wildlife!!! As we get to the cache, the sun set so we just had enough light to see two containers!!! Yes, two! We checked them both and found that the log in one was completely full so we signed the log in the second container. Still a nice quick cache and dash. TFTC

Oh, what a great day and a nice cache to end it with. Chihuahuas-3 and I have spent the day finishing up the Star Wars series of caches nearby and are heading home. We arrived here and found two caches -- the log is full on one, so we figured someone placed the second cache to provide a new log. That's the one we signed. Thank you, C-3's for a wonderful day and thank you, WitzAbout for another nice cache.
