Easter Bunny Hide

What is Easter?

Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the day they believe that Jesus returned from the dead after being crucified.

So why does the date of Easter move?  And where did the eggs and bunnies come from?

In early Christianity, the people moved the celebration of Easter to coincide with an existing pagan festival on the first full moon after the spring equinox, which is why Easter moves every year. In old pagan customs, eggs were a symbol of new life, and rabbits a symbol of fertility. These “Easter eggs” became ways for them to talk about the “resurrection” (when Jesus Christ came back to life) they celebrated.

So it became a way to celebrate by hiding candy for the kids to find and have fun. That's basically what Geocaching is about: To find the cache and have fun ..... but  you will have to solve the puzzle below to get the coordinates to find this cache.  Hope you enjoy your hunt. You may find  an egg at the end of your hunt but it's not edible, just another hidden log that you can put your ink scrolls on.

Object: Follow each bunny's trail  "over and/or under"  each crossing obsticle (whether the pathway goes under or over a log/rock) until you find the bunny's hidden egg stache. Knowing these crossings, is how the bunny finds his way...     *****      And the same goes for you.     *****

More helpful  hints here: over=1, under=0; Red is 39° after conversion. Dot in center of a bunny intersection in this case always = 1.

Always    BYOP & Tweezers  to remove log from tiny baggie. ty

***    (a      (smiley)  Does Not count unless you sign the log)    ***

Congratulations goes to Too Bears  & TwoPonds for being FTF @2:35pm  yes

Busy street and muggles can be watching from near by parking.

Please return it to it's hiding spot.  ty

Don't forget to tickle the bunny's tummy.

A DOT in the center of a bunny intersection crossing is 1 (= over) .....
Cache is NOT snow friendly, it can get buried easily at the "base" ......

A fun puzzle and nicely put together. I enjoyed solving it. I ran out on this chilly wet day to see if I could get a few caches. This was one of my stops. A fun and inventive way to hide I cache. I traded out the trackable that was in the cache. I dropped off the Mars Perseverance Rover trackable to keep it moving.

I had helped MinieB test this puzzle (although I had trouble counting overs/unders so I'm not sure my testing helped - ha!) so I had to wait for someone to be FTF before finding it. Today was the day though. You ever have a rough day at work and just need to do something fun and pedal your bike fast to release steam? This was the perfect destination! This cache was awesome and steals another favorite point from me. Now we've had kitties and bunnies. Thanks for making me smile and for getting me to do a fast 12-mile geocycle ride. I even detoured around Crown Hill Park and did a couple laps to look at the beautiful mountains. This was just what I needed. TFTMC, MinieB!

Nice twist on a familiar-looking puzzle theme Wink. And the hide is great, too -- cute artwork! Traded trackables, TFTC!

I solved this one very shortly after it came out this morning. However, I don't need a first to find on this calendar day. So, I wanted to wait until somebody else found it. I waited and waited and waited and waited. By the time a notification came through that the first people had found it I was well south of here playing around looking for other geocaches. I'm glad to swing by on this beautiful Easter day to log a find on this one. Mostly I wanted to be able to come by and award this a favorite as there were so many things that I had enjoyed about the way this cache was done.

Watched this all day after solving in the morning. No one else got it, so I finally went for it. Must have just missed the FTF.
