Yonkalla

The southernmost Kalapooian tribe, they formerly lived on Elk and Calapooya Creeks, tributaries of Umpqua River in Oregon. There were two bands of the group were Chayankeld and Tsantokau. The tribe is extinct today.

#41933 Found while passing through the area on my way out to Fort Morgan. Parked in a convenient spot nearby and made the short walk over to the cache. Found it easily after a short search. Signed in and headed off down the road. TFTC

Glad I spotted this little turn-off. Made getting to GZ easier. There is concrete evidence that the cache is where it's suppose to be! So ends a pleasant morning in the area. Thanks for all the placements!

Out with C1tyG1rl picking up a few caches in Mondo country. Very windy day so we gave up after a handful but managed to get the next Planetary Pursuit souvenir anyway. Signed log as CR+CG. TFTC
