Great December afternoon for geocaching! This was my second attempt at the first waypoint. I don't know how I missed it last time. This time only took 5 minutes (using the updated hint). Great area. Short and sweet hike. Took 1 trackable and dropped off two that have been in my possession for way too long. TFTC!

Made the nice find during yet another sunny and warm day -- in late October 
Took me a while to find stage 1, but it is there -- in a VERY safe spot, but one that you can see from several feet away. Good camo ! Then made the quick jaunt over to the final and found it easily, although it is well hidden and also well camo'd. Traded a little swag, grabbed the trackable that has been in here for 16 months, and dropped off a new trackable of ours -- Narwhal. Not sure what a narwhal is doing in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, but hey -- you find some pretty interesting items in caches. Stamped the log and was on my way. TFTC !

I found the other multis in the area last year, but never had time to do this one. Today I made it back to the local area to finish these multis. There was a fairly large herd of cows grazing right at the entrance and were scatter all the way down the road. They certainly were not pleased that I was there, but they left me alone as did I them. I spotted both the 1st stage and final without to much problem. Dropped off trackable. TFTC.

On a cache run to do some owner maintenance.
Sorry! 10 years ago the hint was correct. There has been a lot of digging right at ground zero, Very strange to see this . I have no idea what all the digging is about. Updating clue #1 and everything is good to go

Searched for about an hour at the first stage but had no luck even with the hint and description in mind. I will add to my watch list and come back out if someone else has better success. Nice area and loved the hike. TFTC

Yay! I haven't done a RustyBeerCan cache in ages. I forgot how fun they can be. And this one didn't disappoint. It took us a bit to find the first stage, but WingsAndTales finally spotted it. I also needed a 2005 Colorado cache for a challenge. Great hiking area! Thanks for bringing us out there.

I'm not sure why I never really noticed this area before but once I started looking I realized there's a bunch of fun to be had both on foot and in a 4x4. Estes01 and I started working our way through the area today but it looks like we will need to come back a time or two. The first stop was well camouflaged and took us a few minutes to find. Nice area to wander around in. TFTC
