This is the 50th in my series of Trail Mix caches all made out of Trail Mix or nut jars.

The hike to this cache is not all that long but you get to figure out what the correct route is from the parking area. While this area is fequented by off road motorcycles, they are not allowed on the trail to this cache. You only need to follow trail 787 about 30 feet and then turn right towards a "no motorized vehicles" sign. Head out that way for a fairly easy route to this cache and its buddy "Danno" cache..

When I hid this cache there was 2-3 inches of snow all the way and it added to the beauty of the area.

By the cache there is a very cool rock formation with lots of boulders, crevices and even caves. The cache is not in any of these caves or up high on any of the boulders. It is worth exploring the formation either before, during or after finding the cache. It won't take very long to completly circle the formation and to climb around on some of the boulders but be careful! You do not need to climb any boulders to find the cache.

Yoiu might find that your GPSr is a bit jumpy here. The hints might come in handy.

Oh, and bring your own pen.

WOO-HOO! I've been out of town for Spring Break the last week and saw this shiny new Trail Mix drop, the 50th edition no less. This morning I scooped up the puppy and took him for a much needed walk in the woods. We spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to access GZ, and the hide itself was pretty easy. I happily deposited our name on the log, snapped a pic, dropped a Travel Bug and returned as found. Happy to be back in the illustrious "Trail Mix" club of finding all 50 of them, will there be more??? Time will tell. Favorite from us, TFTC!

A nice, morning adventure to grab these two new cajrrman hides. A bit of a cold wind blowing, but I was prepared and stayed warm. Happy to log this one as my 50th in this awesome series! Cheers!

Out and about for a walk in the woods with "animjason" and "dewinder" on a delightfully sunny and warm early spring day - this was the last of two geocaches that we found along the way - the TM series is once again Chipmunk for me. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Always grab these as fast as we can. Found today with my dad and Bhob. I'll have to bring BearAdair and Sissadies another time. They're playing with my mom. Went right to this one with help from sat view, then played around the rocks a lot. Gets a fave. Traded TBs.

Thanks cajrrman! animjason logged Trail Mix #50: Rampart Range from a twenty-third galaxy using c:geo!
