Out caching with Hives on a nice day in and around Canon City. TN - TFTC

On an all day cache outing with Ark Goose in the Canon City area to pursue puzzles, challenges, and other interesting caches along the way. It was a perfect day for caching. We were mostly successful in our endeavors with only a few DNFs along the way. There were some that we started to pursue and determined they would require more time and effort than we could invest today so saved them for another time. Thanks to the COs for providing and maintaining a lot of fun caches in this area. Also discovered a lot of fun TBs along the way. A quick find on our way by. Nice hide. SL. TFTC

This one hasn't been found for a while so I stopped to check on it. It is in place and waiting patiently to be found. Cache on!

So a priest, a rabbi, a deaf person, a chemist and a geocacher walk into a bar...
The chemist calls out to the bartender, "AU, how about a drink?" The bartender asks the rabbi what he wants and he says "I'll have my coffee like Moses use to make it". The bartender, a bit confused, asks what he means and the rabbi answers that "Hebrews it". As they're sitting there enjoying their drinks a blind man walks into the bar, a table and a chair. The geocacher (sevenfooter1) exhausted from working the clues from the "Laugh, I nearly Died" geocache and then going out and finding it, yawned from exhaustion. The deaf person from the other side of the table thinks to himself, "Why is he screaming?" When it's time to go, the priest suggests that they go home in his Honda, because he likes to drive like the apostles did, all in one Accord.

I'm no good with jokes, but I did enjoy the puzzle. I learned that parking on the road is not a good idea; true, there's not a lot of traffic, but there's enough. And there is not room to get completely off the road. There's a good lot to park in just a bit to the north, and you don't have to cross the barbed wire fence--you can just walk around the east end of it. Took a bit of looking to find the cache, and I was wondering what all the people driving by on Hwy 50 thought of seeing this old lady crawling around like that. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache hide..

After attending the Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde event in Pueblo we headed west to find some solved puzzles in the Canyon City area. No problems with the puzzle or the find. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find today.

And he says table for one. Cool puzzle, took a little research to figure out one. Was crewing for "Mountain Breeze" at the 4th annual Canon City Balloon Festival at the field right next door. TFTC
