An aerial tour of Boulder, Colorado
The given coordinates used to relate to the cache theme, but are not the coordinates of the cache. (Don't bother going to the given coordinates; it used to be a tennis complex, now it is the CU Law School.)

At each of the 6 coordinates listed below (T1 thru T6), tennis courts have (or had) been built. To locate the cache, you must determine how many courts are at each location. Two other identifications are required (L and R) which will be obvious when you see them.

Probably the best (and most fun) option is Google Earth. If you don’t already have it, it is a free download from www.googleearth.com. NOTE: You will have to use the historical time slider for several of the locations if you don't see a tennis court.

Locate these coordinates and count the number of tennis courts at each site. Solve the equations below to determine the cache coordinates.

T1 is at 40.01006, -105.26825 = (on 10/6/14)
T2 is at 40.04425, -105.28883 =
T3 is at 39.99622, -105.23331 =
T4 is at 39.98701, -105.23820 = (on 10/7/12)
T5 is at 39.97990, -105.23820 =
T6 is at 39.97450, -105.24794 =

These 2 locations are not tennis courts but are needed:

L is at 40.00641, -105.27149 = # of letters painted on the patio (on 6/15/10)
R is at 40.00463, -105.26059 = # of approx. equal roof sections (on 7/30/07)

Check: T1+T2+T3+T4+T5+T6+L+R=23

A = T1 - T2
B = (R + T5)/T5
C = L - T3
D = R + T6
E = T3 X T4
F = R + T2 + 1
G = T4 + T6
H = L + T5

Check: A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H=40

The cache is located at: BE.EFGDA, -105.ABCDB

Cache is a 35mm can; log only, no pen.

I suggest you check your final solution on one of the aerial photo sites before heading out to find it; if you are not along an east-west trail, you made a math error.

WARNING: Google Earth is highly addictive.

Went out today just to finish this cache. We enjoyed the walk in and all of the farm and prairie life we encountered. The hide was very clever and the cache and the log were in good shape. Thanks DES for the fun puzzle and cache!

I sent some of Vito Corleone's boys over to visit the wasps (not bees) and they made them an offer they could not refuse.

The container is supposed to be on the bottom.

After downloading Google Earth I was able to finally solve this geocache. Had a great hike to the cache and seeing Prairie Dogs watch us! At the cache site I made the find, but found bees coming out of the top and also at the bottom! It appears that the container has slid to the bottom, so I never did sign the log.
Liked the puzzle and the hiding area.
Will send CO photo of the area.
