A popular hike with an outstanding view of Pikes Peak.  It has been a while for a few new caches to crop up along this trail.

Love this hike and will never tire of this great outdoor experience.  The views along the way are stunning, so I felt a new cache along the way would remind the geocaching community to keep coming back here for more. It is placed just off the trail with a great view of the Peak.

Parking at the trailhead has become pretty pricey and can only be obtained by on-line reservation, so I suggest parking at Memorial Park where you can hop the free shuttle up to the Iron Springs Chateau and walk up to the trailhead from there. As an alternative, the Iron Springs Chateau also has a limited number of short-term parking spaces available for a fee.

Out for a rather long bike ride with a couple friends and needed a cache along the way. This one made the list. It took a few minutes to locate but signed the log and replace as found. Very well done. TFTC SL

Enjoyed a fun day of caching along Barr Trail on a beautiful Memorial Day. We owe so much to so many brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. Good hide, but made the find using the hint provided. Signed log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Should have taken the cache name to heart... I kept not seeing it as I looked 'round and 'round and 'round ... all the while betting the hide would turn out to be exactly what it is !!! Dope slap for my 25 minutes lost

I was with the CO when she hid the cache. This is a great spot and definitely needed a cache. Come on up everyone. The mountains are calling! TFTC
