Third in a series of Laurel and Hardy tribute caches.

Men O'War is a short Laurel and Hardy film made in 1929.

The boys only have enough money (15¢) to buy 3 sodas for them and their two girl friends, so...
Ollie: When I ask you to have a drink, you refuse!
Stan: Okay.
Ollie (pointing at the girls and himself in turn): Okay, soda, soda, soda, and what will you have Stan?
Stan: Soda.
Ollie pulls Stan aside.

Ollie: When I ask you to have a drink, you must refuse!
Stan: Okay.
Ollie: Okay, so soda, soda, soda, and my dear Stan, what will you have?
Stan: I don't want any.
Girl: Oh, General, don't be a piker.
Stan: Okay, I'll have a banana split.

After getting it all straight, they are buying 3 sodas with Stan and Ollie planning to split theirs...

Sodajerk: What flavor?
Ollie: Sassafras.
Stan (making a face): I don't like frassasass.

Ollie: Go ahead and drink your half.
[Stanley drinks the entire soda with a disgusted look on his face because he doesn't like frassasass.]
Ollie: Do you know what you've done?
Stan nods
Ollie: What made you do it?
Stan: I couldn't help it.
Ollie: Why?
Stan: My half was on the bottom.

After all that, they discover that sodas are 10¢ each.
For the cache, first finders should watch out for frogs and maybe a rhinoceros.

Agree with the previous finder about using the waypoint to avoid any bushwacking on the way to this one. All well here, although the frogs still have control of the cache. TFTC

A fun find today! Go to the waypoint for the best way to the cache. If you start there, you should be able to get there without busting through scrub. TFTC!

I had the opportunity for a geo-run in Jefferson County today, so I chose to do my hike in Deer Creek Canyon Park. I had previously hiked the western portion in March of 2016, so today I was happy to try the terrain in the eastern portion. Despite a late start, I was very happy with my mileage today (12 miles), the overcast weather, had lots of fun picking up caches, and enjoyed the scenery. I decide to give this cache a try because it looked fun, the terrain looked cool, and the cache had a nice D/T rating. I had a rocky start because the GPS was not cooperating. Fortunately, I was able to sort that out. After a short hunt, I was grateful to make a drama free find on this cache. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache and bringing me to Deer Creek Canyon Park, TFTC.

My #1965 with David coming back to Deer Creek Canyon to grab 8 caches today. We live at 300 feet in Pennsylvania, so the 8 mile hike with 1500 feet of elevation gain on our third day here was a stretch. For this one, I wasn't so sure about whether the suggested approach would work. But it did - splendidly. Cache still has nice frogs. We enjoyed the Laurel and Hardy story. TFTC.

I gotta say this wasn't the easiest cache to get to...but it's in good shape and well hidden from muggles!
