This is a traditional container and log on the way up the mountain. This will be a difficult climb and find. 

The Aimless Wanderers decided to wander aimlessly and just so happened to come upon a location to hide a cache. Ok, that's not true. We were not wandering aimlessly, we were seeking some nearby caches. We also did not come upon the location by chance, we sought out a devlisih place to hide a cache while seeking the others. 

The terrain to get to this cache is difficult. Additionally, this hide is rather difficult. If you make the attempt and log a DNF, we will be more than happy to send you a hint.

I had gotten a neighbor cache and saw this one nearby, so traversed the side of the hill over to this one. A little scouting and I had another 4/4 in the books. TFTC! #3322

The Round Mountain trail head will be CLOSED January 4 - February 16, 2019.

The Round Mountain trail head closure is due to a forest mitigation project under the direction of the Big Thompson River Coalition to help reduce fuel sources in the event of a wildfire. The trail head will be subject to additional closure pending the start of a pipeline reclamation project to remove the former hydropower plant supply line. Thank you.

I was 'hiking with a purpose.' Make the peak, find a few caches, dodge the showers, and enjoy the views. Quick find for me (unusual!). TFTC.

#31432 This was one of the toughest hikes I've done since I started caching.. Today was cloudy and cool for July and my goal was to find Golden Dozen and UTM - Up The Mountain. I was successful at both and a few traditonals. TFTC

I was really trying to make this a 5 terrain, but luck made it a lot easier. I approached from above. Accidentally dropped my walking stick. When I retrieved it, I spotted the cache!
