HAPPY PI DAY!

Pi is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of any circle’s circumference to its diameter. It is an irrational number, and consequently its decimal expansion never ends and never repeats. Although never proven, it is likely that every pair, triplet, even 100-digit block of numbers occurs at some place in it's decimal expansion and with the same probability as every other block of digits.

To put it simply, your phone number is somewhere in the decimal expansion of pi and so is your social security number. Some place in the decimal expansion of pi there are one million consecutive zeros followed by one million consecutive ones.

The latitude and longitude of this cache are in the decimal expansion of pi, and I am going to tell you exactly where you can find them.

The latitude of this cache begins at the 17,473,871st digit of pi and is 7 digits long.

The longitude of this cache begins at the 108,175,037th digit of pi and is 8 digits long.

Quite an adventure! I solved this one a while ago and finally made it to this side of town to look for the container. We parked at what seemed to be the closest spot and then headed out on foot. Immediately, we saw deer fleeing. As we continued, we ran into some serious guardians. Thistle as tall as I am, as thick as a forest! We weaved our way through to the approximate GZ. Now we had little creatures crawling all over our clothing. Flashbacks to recent tick problems in Missouri. But these weren't ticks, so we continued. I came through a clearing to see two Great Horned Owls flying away. Once perched up high and watched us with curiosity. We dug around until we found the container. Probably needs replacement. As we returned to the truck, we saw more deer and a hawk. Thanks for bringing us out here! TFTC!
