On a geocaching road trip with geodog, Spartacus. This was a wonderful surprise - Flagler Wilderness Area. Spartacus especially enjoyed the walk and is voting favorite point! The contents of the cache are extremely wet. My cacher stamp left a black smear. Thanks for the placement, bigdano87!

Found it just fine...why, oh why do I insist on geocaching when I have sandals on?.... lol...oh well....it was worth another smiley ..... rescued the duck...even though I know it loves being wet, I thought he might wanna move on since with winter is on its way soon ....the cache really does need a new watertight container....??....tftc!

Well the name certainly fit our adventure here. First there was the drive out to here. Our dog Fred was also with us and walked with us to the cache area. We started looking around and suddenly there was movement in a nearby bush. Fred had spotted a porcupine !! It took a few minutes of calling for him to finally leave it and come to us. Amazingly he had not got stung at all. Found the cache and it was in pretty bad shape. Seems like it is from animal, not human, muggles. A large hole in the container and contents all dirty. Returned to the car and taped everything as best we could, discarded wet, filthy items and cleaned up the inside. Lots of trackables inside - took many (mostly copy tags all chained together) and returned cache. Thanks for the adventure.

I am out from Aurora, CO. I am on my back to Colorado after visiting Mingo which is the oldest geocache in the United States. What a perfect day in CO to be geocaching. Thank you for the fun geocache. TNLN.
