An homage to the Colorado Rockies (the team and the mountains).  This is an ammo can with some baseball-related SWAG at a little below 9000 feet Elevation. The view of the back range is pretty nice, which means you'll need to go off-trail and up a bit by foot to find this one.

Wow! That was quite a climb. I kept hoping it wouldn’t be all the way at the top, but I knew all along it would be. I’m glad I approached from the direction that I did, though. Otherwise it would have been much more difficult to spot. I would say it is very well hidden, but definitely find-able using average geocache skills.

We live in the area and decided we’ve procrastinated about finding these newer caches for too long. We hit a grand slam today... 4 for 4! Glad that you gave us a good reason to get out on this beautiful day. TNLNSL. TFTC.

After finishing up the Pole Hill loop with BugRanger and Path Pacer, FayColSalTom and I took off with geodog Elwood to pick this one up. It was kind of huffy and puffy to get up here, because we were already tired from the loop, but we found the cache handily. Headed home happy to have the three new caches in this vicinity, and to have missed the impending rain. TFTC!

Enjoyed a morning hike around the trails of Pole Hill with EstesLynne, Path Pacer, BugRanger and our geodogs. A bit of a slog up the hill, but great terrain points! Thanks for the hide.

Gorgeous area for a cache. We are out exploring in our Jeep, hiking, finding caches and hiding a couple of new caches. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!

I decided to walk with my dog on Pole Hill today and go get this new cache. It was a little hot and dusty, but I like watching the Jeeps go over the rocks. Lovely view of Longs Peak from the cache site, and a not-so-lovely view of the clouds of pollen wafting up from the trees. It almost looks like a forest fire! Fortunately, I don't have a problem with allergies. I guess it's about time I read "Catcher in the Rye" since I found a copy in the cache. Thanks!

Waawhoo FTF on this great morning! Made the quick trek up to this cache from the gated parking area! Enjoyed watching the sun rise on the mountains to the west. Thanks Barngineer for placing another great cache in the woods!
