Solved the puzzle thanks to help at one of the puzzle events. Today we came out to make the find with Fred. Had to time it between muggles – many walkers and cyclists out on this beautiful day. Thanks for the puzzle and smiley.

I'm old enough to have used things like in the picture so I knew what the "data" was but had no luck with any of the conversions that I tried. Got some assistance from a previous finder and got results that don't work in the checker but do lead you directly to the cache. Last note from the CO makes it super easy. Really nice container and everything is in good shape. Give it a fav for nostalgia's sake. TFTC!

I had the right idea on how to solve this puzzle but just couldn't figure it out. I talked to a computer colleague who confirmed my assumptions and pointed out that I had the right answer but I couldn't explain how I came up with it. After a little more reflection and exploration I figured out the coordinates and made the find. TFTC, and a favorite point.

Now I've got it. Thanks, CO, for the nudge. I don't normally go caching right in the middle of a hot summer day, but a) it wasn't that hot; b) I had on my trusty sunblock; c) GZ was very nicely shaded, too. All in all, a gorgeous day with a perfect blue sky amd perfectly green trees. The container was nice, too. Thanks again!

I decided to check on this one after a DNF. As recorded in the DNF log, there is a lot of undergrowth, as well as heavy brush and big cottonwood trunks in the area. However, the cache is there and in fine shape. I replaced the log, which was soggy.

Here is some help:

At or near GZ you will find a short casual trail leading down and to the East. As you look down this little trail, you will see several large cottonwood trunks to your left. The cache is attached to the back side of the nearest one.

By the way, I looked, but didn't see any Poison Ivy. I hope there isn't.. I was in shorts.
