Bummer! With a nudge from the CO, I solved the puzzle this week and headed to the final today. No luck finding it in the snow covered bushes.

I've never seen one done this way before; it was fun to solve! The bread crumbs weren't the easiest to follow, but I got there eventually. Since this GZ is ~1,700 miles away, the smiley will never be mine so this "Write note" will have to suffice. Thanks for the puzzle!!!

Whew! Finally got this burr out from under my saddle. I didn't have any idea about how to solve the puzzle when it was first published, so it had remained one of the few that I had not found in Castle Rock at the time. And later when I loaded caches into my nuvi it would always pop up whenever I drove to Denver and back. Once I stopped to see if I could find anything at the published coords - nope, couldn't even get close. Well, I've learned a few things over time, so when I took a closer look at it last year I was able to get a solution in just a few minutes. But when Snailman1 and I looked for the container last year it apparently had gone missing - rats! At least when it was reactivated I was able to get the new solution just a bit faster than in my first attempts. Stopped after lunch in town and made a quick find (easier in Fall, without foliage and snow.) SL TFTC!
