A short walk from available parking, may be a quick find. The speed of the find is up to you. Happy Adventures.

Once used as an entryway to farms in the Dry Creek area. Then used as the gateway to construction equipment into the area. With the adding of a parking area, the gateway is the way to parking for visitors to Dry Creek Open Space. "Unofficial" bike paths in the area that lead to the trails of Dry Creek that are maintained by the City of Westminster. (One person takes a short cut, then another and it soon becomes a path for all. Please don't try to push the cache deep into it's spot. Leave it designed, Thank You. Safe Cacheing, Dusty

Since I figure today will be our last cold day for a while, I decided to grab some caches over here while the creepy crawlies are keeping warm(ish) somewhere. I didn't dress quite warmly enough, but as I started moving it took the chill off. Big Dry Creek never disappoints and I saw an otter, rabbits, prairie dogs, and lots of birds. Be a little careful around GZ, I saw some inactive wasp nests. I hope they stay inactive! I found a cache like this not too long ago, otherwise this would have taken me much longer. Cache #1260! Took a little bit to find but ended up poking/prodding the right spot! I would definitely NOT have enjoyed this cache in the summer if the wasps were around. Thankfully all was quiet today. TFTC!
