Sculptures guarding the nearby gate are fun to look at - but they'd make us think twice about going in there even if it weren't shut. Nice wildflowers along the road, too.

This was one of the stops we made on the epic 7000 km adventure with UBOff & Safari Cachers.

We started from Calgary and went to Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, back to Utah, Nevada, back to Idaho, Washington, back to Idaho, British Columbia and then home. I may have it a little out of order - you know how geocaching goes.....

I couldn't have asked for two better brothers to travel and geocache with. We had three specific target caches in mind in order to complete everyone's Jasmer. Lucky for us it was mission accomplished.

We had many laughs along the way! I also got to go to places I had never seen before - one of the great things about geocaching! We saw so many beautiful places that I would love to go back to! And I look forward to the next adventure to explore many more places....

Thanks to all the COs for the caches and thanks to 'the brothers' for letting me tag along for the fun!

I drove up to Denver from Caņon City. The traffic on I-25 was horrendous so I took the scenic route back and hunted a few caches along the way. This one made the list. The cache was found quickly. The log was damp, but I was able to sign it. I let it flap in the wind for a while to dry it out. The O-ring is gone so it may just get wet again.

I took some photos and then headed down the road to the next cache. I've seen these sculptures before but never took the time to stop and admire them, so I thank you for placing a cache here that got me to stop.
