A simple counting mystery cache that can be done from your vehicle and that most vehicles shouldn't have a problem driving to. If you aren't comfortable driving this road, it is just a short hike from either starting point. Bring Your Own Pen.

Congrats to billkat for FTF!

From Stage 1, just off Purcell, N38 20.450 W104 41.860, either drive or hike southeast down the dirt/gravel road. Start counting manholes as you go. They are very noticeable and just a few feet from the road on either side of it. Count until you get to #6. Stop directly by it and go up the small hill. The cache is south of the utility box, under a small bush at the crest of the small hill.

From Stage 2, just off Sapinero, N38 20.158 W104 41.476, either drive or hike northwest down the dirt/gravel road. Start counting manholes as you go. They are very noticeable and just a few feet from the road on either side of it. Count until you get to #5. Stop directly by it and go up the small hill. The cache is south of the utility box, under a small bush at the crest of the small hill.

After completing this cache from either direction, don't worry about making a U-Turn. The road goes the same distance out as the distance you came in and will get you back to a main road. If you need back to Purcell, when the road returns to a paved road make a right turn. The next street is Purcell. If you need back to Sapinero, when the road returns to a paved road make a left turn. Watch on your left for Sapinero.

Please use caution for slithers and critters and after any rain or moisture.

This is a great place to watch for wildlife and we did see a huge owl sitting in a tree on our way out after placing this cache.
Please make sure cache is secure before leaving. The rocks will keep it from washing down the hillside or blowing away. It is also attached to the bush with a wire. Make sure this is still attached.

I wondered if the tumbleweed would make any of the manholes hard to spot, but that turned out not to be a problem. All was in order. Thanks for a puzzle out in this area.

My dad had a doctor's appointment off Spaulding and I thought it to pretty to sit inside. Super fun field puzzle. I parked to the east, counted off the required number of manholes and followed the geo trail up the hill. No problems here. Giving you a favorite point for a nice walk in the fresh air with a reward of a new smiley face.

Clearly we cannot count. But we still managed to make the find! On a mission to get to 1,000 by the end of 2018 and spent the day cleaning up those Pueblo area caches! SL, TFTC!

This was an easy one. I parked on the road and walked in. Saw the utility box even before I saw the last manhole. I left all my small swag in my other jacket so all I had were a couple of fossil teeth.

We missed a sneaky manhole & went one too far so had to go back one phone box.

Closed the shop early tonight and head home with this cache in mind. Took some time but the find was made and the log signed. TFTC
