A cache placed just north of Red Feather Lakes, with superb 360° views of the Mummy Range to the southwest, and Lost Lake to the northeast.
This was originaly going to be the final stage for our nearby cache C.L.O., but we felt it was too nice and needed to be it's own cache.

Route planning can make the difference between an uphill walk to the cache, and a difficult ascent.

 Hints

Some people mispell it as bonzai, but it really should be spelled bonsai, and is pronounced "bone-sigh". The container is not actually in a bonsai, but it sure looks like it.

Quite the adventure finding this lonely cache! Beautiful spot with an amazing view. Much more than an uphill walk. All is in great shape!

Found with Denali41 and puppy Teewinot. Neat mountain cache with a great view in a subtly beautiful area. Thanks for leading us there.

Silver Trekker, my puppy Teewinot, and I finished a long day of climbing/hiking Larimer County Named Peaks and finding several geocaches, with this one as the finale. Wow, what a great location. The container and cache contents are in perfect shape. We aren't. We came out from the cache back to the car in twilight and then dark conditions. We should have had along the instruments I always preach to others about having--headlamps!! It's easy in that complex terrain to have more delays than anticipated. But we found the cache, signed the log, and got safely back to the car very late for a February day! TFTC, Team Fegel!
