I have been in a minor slump for the last few weeks. It's actually not that bad. I just haven't searched for a cache since May 20. But still, it felt like forever for me! Now that my son's school is over, I'm back to my 2.2 mile commute and I cached that out long ago! But this morning I was up early and had targeted this trail to get a few more caches. I had been here 11 months ago and really enjoyed it but ended up getting soaked by a rainstorm at the end. I went solo and without my geodog as I knew I'd be hitting parts where there are no dogs allowed. This was the first stop on my journeys though and I started to make it WAY harder than I needed to when I spotted it. Nice size cache! I dropped a TB I'd had for a little too long and replaced it as I found it.

Thanks for the hide EasternGirls

Looks like lots of folks come this way to catch some rays! The northern side of the trail is closed for wildlife needs, so I headed south and parked in the lot off Monarch. I think this was a good day - the cold kept both the snakes and the muggles away. :) Everything was in good shape here. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3510.

Have a quiet weekend so I decided to grab a few for the 360 degrees of Colorado challenge. Hopped in the car kinda early and headed south. When I started out it was 64 degrees and sunny, the rain rolled in and it dropped down to 48 in a hurry. I enjoyed my hikes today, lots of flowers, rocks, cactus and birds to look at. I'll probably hit a few more tomorrow, it will be awesome to get to below 100 red rays!

Today I focused on geocaches to help with the 360 Colorado challenge. Short walk to the last cache i grabbed in this park today. Tftc!

Flew in from Montana last night to spend some time with family camping in the Estes Park area. Since they have to work for a couple of hours before we head west I thought I would try to do a little treasure hunting instead of just sitting at home. Was down in this area for another cache so stopped by for this one, too.

After hiking to the Multi cache final in the area, I noticed this cache was right along the route I was coming back on......so naturally I had to stop for it. TFTH
