Although all blood is made of the same basic elements, not all blood is alike. In fact, there are eight different common blood types, which are determined by the presence or absence of certain antigens – substances that can trigger an immune response if they are foreign to the body. Since some proteins/antigens can trigger a patient's immune system to attack the transfused blood, safe blood transfusions depend on careful blood typing.  The history behind Blood transfusions and blood typing is bizarre and fascinating.  Take historical look the historical Puzzle cache “Transfusion” for the back story.  For now, all you need to do to solve this puzzle is determine if a transfusion will be ACCEPTED or REJECTED to earn yourself a smiley

I have had the puzzle part solved for a few months now and finally got to the area to look for the cache. I walked around it before I was able to get it. It's nice to get this one found after solving the puzzle.

Picking up some of the puzzles I’ve solved before they get archived. Some already have been. Blood types are right up my alley. Mine is -0 which is the universal type. I give blood on a regular basis. I’m up to 14 gallons now. Thanks for thus unique puzzle.
