It is a little off the dirt trail thru some underbrush and area can get a bit muddy at times.   You will have to get very low to see him.   No need to remove him - just unscrew the bison tube he is holding and sign the log (BYOP).  Be sure and cover up well with natural camo for the next cacher and to hide from muggles.

We had a very similar cache in California (now adopted) that is about to celebrate its third St. Patrick Day.  We hope everyone enjoys this one and it lasts a long time.

Leprechauns, or little people, are Irish fairies about two feet tall. Leprechauns are dressed in green and are shoemakers. They can be found by following the sound of their hammering. They are believed to have hidden away a pot of gold. If you catch a Leprechaun, they have to lead you to their treasure. But, be wary, if you take their eye off of them they will get away.

Leprechauns are sly creatures, and will try to trick you into looking away so they can escape and not have to give you their treasure. They are also a bit of a loner, and rarely seen in groups. Seldom do you even see pairs of Leprechauns together.

Found it when I finally kneeled down for a better look. St. Patrick's Day has always been fun for me to celebrate, but I was working this year so this will have to do. Thank you.


Ended up parking by Office Depot and walking about 4 miles in less than 3 hours grabbing these caches. It was such a nice afternoon that I even stopped and had lunch by the water. Al if the caches were found in great condition and were all very thoughtful and worth the drive over from Aurora. Thanks a lot for all the caches.

This was the most well-anchored units of this type the Furon Empire has discovered to date! I can only deduce by the amount of effort put into it that the owners must be from a low gravity world such as Cinder-III. Thank you for placing this unit!

Beautiful day to cache while my son is reffing for the soccer tournament. Easy to get to and I honestly got a kick out of the leprechaun. Any time you can add humor to a cache is well worth it. Signed log as PCBlue27
