This toolman likes great views. You will also be treated to ringing chimes while at the cache. The cache is off the Old Stage Road close to town. You can park at the hairpin curve where the pavement turns to gravel.
Go up the dry creek gulch there. The terrain is very steep. You may want to use hiking poles or just grab a stick.
The best approach waypoints are listed below.
NOTE: No need to remove the thick wire from the tree, just lift the cache out of the wire cage.
The original cache was an old tool box with tools and hardware items in it but since it was muggled 3 times I gave up on that. So now it is a peanut butter size container with some small tools in it, but you may trade with whatever you have.

Can't believe it's been so long. I've driven past this spot 100+ times riding back in the woods. Waypoints are perfect to getting there. TFTC and beautiful view. Took a look at the long long lost one nearby but figured that the grid is wayyyyyyy off.

Checked on the cache today and added a few items and a new log.

Thanks for the great cache! I headed up this way to find a couple caches after work. This was the second one. I made my way here from a very difficult line of attack. I was met with crazy steep slippery slopes and huge cliffs! My recommendation is to take the rout described! It's how I went back to my car and it was so much easier! I found the cache easily, signed, stamped and replaced as found. I added one of those slips that describe geocaching into the log just in case it should be found by a muggle. I took the time to enjoy the view and snap some pictures. What a grand location this is. It's even got a great view of Will Rogers Shrine and the bells sounding was so loud! Great spot! Thanks for placing this cache for us all to enjoy!

I looked for the GCGCQV archived cache that RayQix wrote about in his 7/03 note, but did not find anything there.

Checked on the cache and it was on the ground and had water inside. The log was too soaked to be useable. All I had with me was one sheet of paper to use as a log but that will work for now. Not sure how it ended up on the ground, I had a strong wire around the container to hold it in place.
