Going through bluff lake is the easier way.The other way I would grade terrian as 3.5 but a nice walk.
Salt Lake City is the capital of Utah.
Before Mormon settlement, the Shoshone, Ute, and Paiute had dwelt in the Salt Lake Valley for thousands of years. However, occupation was seasonal, near streams emptying from Canyons into the Salt Lake Valley. The first US explorer in the Salt Lake area is believed to be Jim Bridger in 1825, although others had been in Utah earlier, some as far north as the nearby Utah Valley (the Dominguez-Escalante expedition of 1776 were undoubtedly cognizant of the Salt Lake valley). U.S. Army officer John C. Frémont surveyed the Great Salt Lake and the Salt Lake Valley in 1843 and 1845] The Donner party, a group of ill-fated pioneers, had traveled through the Great Salt Lake Valley in August 1846.

Returned to try to attempt this one. Definitely agree that it is way easier to grab this one through the Bluff Lake entrance. We tried about a week or two ago to grab this one without entering the park, and it just looked like it wouldn't be worth the effort of getting down there. Plus, we ran into the hugest snake skin that I had ever seen and decided to just call it quits for the time being. Cache was in really great condition, and we had fun seeing all the prairie dogs along the way. Thanks for the cache.

Took advantage of the beautiful weather today to go for a bike ride at lunch. This cache appears to be in an area that's technically closed for restoration, but that didn't stop a homeless person from setting up shelter nearby. Cache is in great shape. Thanks for placing it.
