Lucifer Jones was an old prospector who spent many years wandering and searching this area for an exlusive treasure, although he never found any he never gave up. Maybe you'll find the cache he was seeking. It could be easy or it could be tough, a little rock scrambling, nothing technical.take water and bug repellent. Please rehide each coord container as found. Final is log only so byop. Happy caching and respect any cryptobiotic soils and cacti you may encounter. High clearance vehicle or 4x4 recommended on road to cache. Parking at n38* 49.474/108* 19.120.oh, Lucifer Jones was the name of the jackass that followed prospector Tom Jones around but would you go after a cache named Tom Jones.

Found first stage but no luck on second. Sort of over heated and gave up. Will return at a cooler time of day or year.

Out having fun today, not finding caches and enjoying life.

Wizzkid does it again. Found first 2 stages, but totally stumped on third. We'll be back.

OK. Headed out today dead set on finding this one on our third attempt. We found stage three near where we hoped it would be after 10 minutes of searching the same old places. There it was, in the same old place! How did we miss this the first two times?! On a side note, this one should be checked if there is a chance. If we are in the area again, we will check again. On discovering it in its location we found that part of it required a bit of glue to allow for replacing the cache in its hiding spot. I hope it was a successful repair. Off to the fourth stage. We looked for about 45 minutes with no success. We decided to head back to repair stage three. After returning to the truck, repairing stage three, we had to return it to its spot. Since we were there, and after reading some of the older logs, we decided to have one more look. I literally looked right at it and moved on. The caching queen of the day went into beast mode and discovered it right where I had previously looked. This cache was one of the most difficult we have completed and we are excited to have found it without hints or help. A very well done cache worthy of the hunt and the favorite point. We consider today a whizzkid triple weekend wipe out having found three for three on our list! Thanks for the hide!

Wow, I am having a stellar day at finding old DNFs. I've been to the final location multiple times and scoured everywhere with no luck. Today, I stayed close within assumed GZ circle and followed Hauberk's clue. I was amazed when I actually touched the cache, camo is spot on and cache isn't visible from my vantage point. I started looking for this in February of 2016 so today's find was a great relief. Thanks for the very difficult and frustrating adventure.
