Ths cache is just off the road that requires a little hike up a small hill.

A small container crafted to blend in almost perfectly to the natural flora.

. The movie Tombstone, released in 1993 is arguably one of the better westerns made and as historically innaccurate as it is, it more than makes up for this in entertainment value. Combine this with a phenominal and diverse cast including Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Michael Bein, Bill Paxton,Billy Bob Thornton, Billy Zane, Powers Boothe it's easy to see why it is such a beloved movie. Have a little fun with this cache and take a moment to look around as there are usually Deer not far from this location. The clue should help and when the cache is found the title will become clear as well as the other hint hidden in the description as what to look for. As always, replace the cache where you found it and you will need a set of tweezers to extract it from its home. Also, remember to watch your step in Snake season as our slithery reptilian friends will be out in force, particularly in this canyon. While placing this cache I managed to pack out a trash bag full of trash and please, if you see any trash please practice a little CITO to help keep this canyon beautiful. Another note of interest. Just up the canyon a few miles in Phippsburg sits the foundation of a home that once belonged to Alfred Packer, the famous cannibal. The good people of this little hamlet grew so tired of the procession of people after Packers death that the home "accidentally" burned down. The foundation sits on the south side of Deer Creek Canyon road in heavy brush.
A huge congrats to:

I'm your huckleberry!! Last find on a +50 deg. Jan. day in South Valley OS/Deer Creek Canyon. This was the highlight of the day and really unique cache. Spent around 5 minutes to find and now going home to watch Tombstone.

**50 find update: We just started geocaching at the beginning of the year and our goal is to get 100 by the end of 2019. At our 50 find milestone, we wanted to go back and select our top 3 'favorites'. We are DEFINITELY giving this cache one of our 'first 50 favorites' - even Curly Bill would be proud.

I was in the mood for a good 20-minute hunt, and this did not disappoint. Nicely hidden and a great container that really does blend in well! TFTC!

We looked around at the wrong spots before we started trusting the coordinates and relying less on our rusty geosenses. Nice job on the container. TFTC!!!!

It took about 10 minutes to find. Probably impossible if snow was on the ground. Very enjoyable though! Tweezers required so I wasn't able to log the find. TFTC!

Went out to the Deer Creek Canyon area to grab a few by the road I've had my eye on for quite some time. Finally had a bit of a break in the day to be able to go and make some finds! Tftc!
