Had a nice visit to Colorado, and found a lot of caches

Good one! On March 20, 2018, I headed out to the eastern plains to grab as many caches as possible. Sorry it took so long to log them. I have a goal of reaching 3,000 caches by my first geocaching anniversary on April 2. My journey started at 7:30 a.m., and ended with a string of FTF’s near Agate, Colorado. I saw a variety of wildlife during my journey; several hawks, prairie dogs, I think a bald eagle, cranes, ducks, geese, and even a bear! The bear was at the Wildlife Sanctuary. Sadly, I also saw the changing times; many abandoned farmhouses and oil pipeline installation everywhere. Thank you to all the cachers who placed these containers and have the fortitude to maintain them. This one was in great shape. TFTC!

Came from California to the Denver area to enjoy the caches on the plains and farmlands. Spent the day admiring the sunflower fields, the livestock and beautiful homes along these wonderful country roads. Thanks -TwoCs- for adding a smiley
to my day with your cache.

Out grabbing some night time power trails. It's nice evading the oppressive daytime heat.

Beautiful morning to go caching so headed out early to pick up the remaining unfound caches east of DIA. After a long drive picking up three new caches south of the interstated along the way, arrived at the caching area for what would turn out to be a miserable caching day. Not sure why, but today there were swarms of tiny flying ants near almost every cache and they would cover you as soon as you stepped out of the vehicle. First time I ran across that in all of the caching days spent in this area. Probably would have called it quits if we hadn't driven so far to get here....I guess the ants are still better than snakes
